Gordon is on the All Rookie Second Team
Get this: Michael Beasley made the first team. I did not see that coming. I mean: I almost understand the O.J. Mayo unanimous thing - almost. And Kevin Love might have been an understandable choice for first team, as I alluded to before. But Beasley? Really? What can we conclude from this? NBA coaches are actually much less informed than NBA journalist and broadcasters.

Instructions...
For all rookie, the instructions are to vote for the five best rookies, regardless of position. But even if you allow for some latent desire to balance the team and put a couple bigs in your top 5, how does Beasley beat out Kevin Love? I actually half expected Gordon to miss… but I had no idea it would be for Beasley. (By the way, I think Beasley’s going to be a monster – always have. But he did not have a better rookie season than Eric Gordon or Kevin Love.)
In this world, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant. Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. - Elwood P. Dowd

yes but its supposed to be the 5 best rookies regardless of position. who cares ? i mean EG getting snubbed shouldnt be shocking anyone. The clippers getting overlooked doesnt suprise me. that doesnt make beasley a better player does it ?
i think he will be though lol gordons gonna be a 22pt guy in his leage for years but beasleys gonna be a 20 and 10 guy
So...
Zach Randolph is a better player than Brandon Roy? Because his 20/10 certainly helped us this season, unlike Roy’s 22 ppg did for Portland.
Oh… wait.
So if Randolph’s 20/10 didn’t help the Clippers this year than neither did Gordon’s production. Beasley made the playoffs (as did Roy) so clearly Beasley is the better rookie.
The argument I just made is as rediculous as yours.

i dont get this. The whole ‘he made the playoffs’ thing. Lottery picks are designed to help horrible teams, thats why we have the lottery. Good rookies go on terrible teams. If the playoffs mattered then sun yue should win the award, i mean his team won 65 games right ? Theyre in the playoffs !! what about rudy fernandez ? Last year Kevin Durant won the ROY with the worst record in the league. No is complainging that OJ mayo or westbrook should get less votes. It just doesnt make any sense. Eric Gordon is better than Beasley period.
You could make this argument with Derrick Rose because he led his team to the playoffs but the Heat are only in the playoffs because of d-wade. We’ve seen what the heat are like without him, 15 wins. Michael beasley did not have a better season than eric gordon and being in the playoffs has little to do with him. If we had won 45 games, we would still be out of the playoffs, does that still make beasley better ?
You do realize my post was sarcastic right? If not, my bad. I realize sarcasm is a bit tough to “read” on forums like these. I’ll be more clear moving forward. Apologies.
