Kobe Doing Work Review...

I just got done watching Kobe Doing Work by Spike Lee.  I have to say that I expected something totally different.  I wanted to see all the inner workings or the routine of Kobe's day.  From when he wakes up in the morning to drink his coffee, the time he spends hanging with his kids, going to the locker room and having verbal interactions with his team mates, talking to his agent, talking to people with in his inner-circle.... anything but what was made.  The film is basically Kobe giving voice over commentary of  some old forgetfull San Antonio game back when Turiaf was on the team.

It definitely didn't seem like there were 30 or 40 extra cameras.  It seemed like there were maybe  three extra camera angles.  It didn't really seem like Spike Lee did anything different that would set his talent above an ESPN intern.  Spike also has a little part.  During the 90 minute ramble, Spike decided to start asking questions at around the 65 minute mark.

Thing that annoyed me:

-Kobe's scripted voice for 90 minutes

-You can't hear any of the other players

- The dude with the Bryant& Gasol& Odom& Bynum& Fisher t-shirt behind the laker bench

- Bruce Bowen

- The wack closing song

-Kobe's scripted voice for 90 minutes

Things that I enjoyed

-the pizza I ate while watching

-when it finally ended

i give it a half a star out of 10
