Now that we got Blake Griffin, everybody in Clipper Nation is already looking desperately, speaking their minds on who should go and who should stay on the Clippers.
Well, theres alot of news of Camby, Randolph, and Kaman.
But my question is, Why AL Thornton?
From his rookie season, I've grown to like the guy ( as you can see in my default picture.)
He's getting paid like 2 mils a season and he's producing 17 points per game. Sure he jacks up stupid shots, but when nobody is running around the floor for you to pass to, what can Thornton do? I think that Thornton can be great when he develops muscles and grows a bit faster. Sure Thornton a bit old, but he's extremely mature.
Why are people saying that Thornton is a huge disappointment? That he is in a sophmore slump?
I'll admit that during the course of the season, there are times that made me wish that Thornton wasn't in the game, but that's part of the learning process.
With time, Thornton wil not disappoint. I have faith that, if CLippers can get rid of some stars and stop getting new stars (plus a new coach), they would be a force to reckon with.
Afterall,
Baron, Taylor
Eric Gordon
Thornton
Griffin
Jordan
In a few years look just as Portland's team today.
