The perfect fit
I'm not sure how or if this is gonna be possible, but watching the Finals, I'm realizing the perfect fit for this team is Hedo Torkoglu. This dude is amazing. Clippers have to go for a SF. I agree with many that Al Thornton would be best as a sixth man. Again, I don't know if Torkoglu will opt out and become a FA, and if the Clips will be able to afford him or do some kind of sign and trade, but it would be nice. Baron and EG are set. Griffin and Camby or Kaman down low. Turkoglu would be a great addition of a passer that can create shots for others, but also score the ball. I heard the Ariza talk, but i think HT would be a better fit.

Our only chance is a sign and trade
But you’d think the Magic would be willing to pay as much (if not more) than us for him. He is 30 but his game would appear to age pretty well since he’s crafty and relies more on his shooting ability than raw athleticism.

I see no way...
He’s too expensive for the Clippers to sign outright, so that leaves sign and trade. But he’s a perfect fit in Orlando, so there’s no way they’re signing him and trading him for Clipper spare parts. So unless you want to bundle Eric Gordon in this deal, you can forget it.
In this world, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant. Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. - Elwood P. Dowd
I agree...
The only way is if we give something we don’t want to give (Gordon). Sorry, it’s just not happening.
He is
an unrestricted free agent I believe
Maybe if we offered the trade last year
I guess we could offer Kaman and Thornton for him the Magic might even consider it, they are undersized up front in some ways. Rashard Lewis’ contract is going to look terrible in a couple of years.

HMMMM
I think shipping Kaman to Chicago for a versatile 6th man like John Salmons and a bad contract like Jerome James would be a great option. I like this because Salmons can play the 2 and 3 and is the much needed boost of the bench that we need to keep the momentum going. The numbers also work…..
John Salmons= $5,104,000
Jerome James = $6,200,000
Total =——————$11,304,000
Chris Kaman $9,500,000
another minumum paid veteran $1,500,000
total=———————-$11,000,000
Or i’ll trade Luol Deng for Kaman Straight up???
