They're Already At It Again

Last season the Clippers punished their season ticket holders (in addition to the team's listless performance) by constantly offering ticket specials which resulted in Joe off the street getting better seats for less money than their season ticket holders who had been loyally ponying up for years. The season hasn't even started yet, but here we go again. Those who have already renewed their season tickets (probably against their better judgment) are apparently getting played for suckers again, having paid the regular season ticket price. Those still on the fence will apparently be offered season tickets at a discount. If the Clippers really care about all of their season ticket holders, they ought offer all of them the same deal. Hey, how about one of those Best Buy price guarantees for Clipper season ticket holders? If similar seats to yours are sold for less than what you paid, they'll refund the difference. Otherwise it looks like another year of good things only happen to those who wait.

This is from the info they have posted for the Draft Party this year (http://www.nba.com/clippers/mvp/draftparty09.html):

Will I be able to purchase 2009-10 Clippers Season Tickets?

There will be special draft day deals available including discounted ticket packages for Groups, Suites, and Season Tickets. Every package sold will receive a gift with purchase.
