"I think the Clippers have made every mistake in the book," a Western Conference GM said. "They've taken big guys just because they're big. They've taken foreign guys just because they played well in one or two tournaments. They've taken guys with questionable character. They haven't focused on character enough."

Character?
I totally agree with this article. Clippers clearly lack character. After all, EJ was caught throwing up gang signs. DJ’s in a bit of a tight spot after the truth about him cheating on his SATs came out. Al Thornton got a groupie pregnant and now has a kid.
… oh wait.

Stuck in limbo.
This blurb is obviously right
Dunleavy has a history of ignoring character (maybe because he has none?) from his days up in Portland.
No wonder he put a team together that quit when the going got tough. Zach Randolph and Ricky Davis are two of the lowest character guys in the league. A guy who consistently gets into trouble off the court and a guy so selfish that he tried to shoot at his own basket to pad his stats. You put guys like that in your lockerroom and you get nothing but bad results. As much as I love Baron, he’s the kind of guy who gets sucked into that too. He definitely didn’t show high character last season.
What this team needs is some lockerroom leadership and high character guys.
I hope that starts with....
Blake Griffin. He seems to be the anti-clipper in terms of his attitude and work ethic.
