I assume Camby or Gordon is on the move.

Does anybody else thinks it's weird that all the Eric Gordon merchandise is on sale? or is there a number change on the Horizon, wasn't Eric Gordon wearing 23 before Camby?  Makes you go Hmmmmmm?

All I know is before Kobe changed his number, all his "8" merchandise went on clearance. At my local Champs outlet in the City of Industry you can see who is going to be leaving due to the influx of clearance jerseys hitting the stores.

i assume

and I hope its camby. He probably would want his old number back. All the rumors have been saying the Clips can’t get someone to take Kaman or ZBo, so it most likely will be Camby

Blake is 23 so Camby will prob change his number or he might be traded cause sadly no one wants Kaman. If Clips trade Gordon I think Dunleavy should leave town.

Blake is 32

AT ESPN bar, they were selling Griffin Jersey’s and shirts with “32” on it. (90 for swingman, 28 or 29 for tshirt.[ the ones where the number feels like a jersey.])

Just couldnt quite pull a trigger on paying full price for a swimgman.

Anyways Deandre Jordan was there, but not really a guest speaker sadly.

Oh yeah, as for trading Gordon, Clippers would be goddamn crazy. I don’t see it happening (although Its not a guareentee.)

Don't read to much into merchandise sales...

Gordon is untouchable.

I doubt Gordon is leaving...

however, I wouldn’t buy a Gordon Jersey until the season starts.

Actually

If you want things for cheap, right now would probably be a good time ot buy it. A.T., Davis, and if there was Gordon jersey’s (swingmans) were 45, better than the 90 that we pay full price for.

No it was swingman.

It was kids sized instead of adults, so its a little tight but im really happy I got such a deal. I also got authentic team shorts for $3.60

Congrats

next time you should do a post telling everybody so we can all get one at the price.

I paid a little over 45(with tax) for a swingman in the last game with a season account number, which equalled out to half off.

2) It’s not as easy as it used to be to change your jersey number.
Among all professional sports, jersey numbers may be more identified with specific players in the NBA than in any other league. You can’t picture Chris Paul wearing a jersey other than No. 3, can you? It’s hard to fathom LeBron James in something other than 23, right?

While that is certainly the case, the recent instance of Allen Iverson changing teams illustrated why NBA rules now make it more difficult than in the past for a player to keep his old number. Due to merchandising considerations, the league adopted a rule earlier this decade that for a player to change his number, he must apply for the alteration more than a year in advance (that explains why Kobe Bryant had to wait to change his number from 8 to 24, which took effect in the 2006-07 season).

When Iverson was traded by Denver to Detroit in November, many assumed that "The Answer" would be able to wear his familiar No. 3. Unfortunately for AI, Detroit already had a player in that number, second-year guard Rodney Stuckey. Unlike in the past, when deals were often brokered to enable a veteran to keep his number, the NBA does not allow a player to "take over" a digit if that team already has someone wearing it. In the Pistons’ case, Stuckey was not allowed to change out of 3, so Iverson was forced to pick a different number (he chose No. 1).

"You can’t do that anymore," Jovanovic says of number swaps that took place in years past. "The league is very strict on numbers and has a policy. Say we trade for a superstar player, and his number is 45. But we have Rasual Butler, who already wears it. (Under league rules), that number is Rasual’s.
