Around SBN: Can Tebow Say No To Anything?

Work ethic, indeed. Griffin finally got to L.A. from New York late Friday, after missing a flight and being delayed on another.

The next morning at 9, Dunleavy and his staff got word that Griffin wanted to work out. So, at 10 a.m., Griffin was in the gym. Same thing Sunday, same thing Monday.

"This is my job now," Griffin said. "College, I had class, whatever. Now, it's a business, and that's the way I look at it."

It's refreshing to hear and see a young man with his head on straight.

He says and does all the right thing, all the time. Hopefully his strong mentality doesn’t break if things get tough (which they might knowing the Clippers). He mentality and work ethic or what every GM and coach dream of having in every one of their players. Seems all our youngsters have been on top of workouts and practice thus far. Adding Griffins worth ethic to the mix only bring more positive energy to the team.

Wounder if Ricky is somewhere sitting on the couch blazing right now eating Cheetos….

I wish my job allowed me to work out on the clock

In all seriousness though, quotes like these are money. You can tell by the way he looks that he takes physical fitness seriously.

Still...

Why’d he miss the flight? Hate to quibble, but isn’t it a stretch to do back flips to celebrate the work ethic and maturity of a kid who doesn’t get to the airport on time?

No worries, just sayin.

It was a good way to start the day...

Was flying back to Oakland, and caught this in the paper. Maybe we should stop gushing about him, and let the guy prove it on the court first, but it’s not easy when you keep reading stuff like this.

Hurm...

Hopefully Zach Randolph can safely guide him out of this hard-working phase…

Never thought that I would actually hear that one!

Mike Smith on Eric Gordon: "The Clippers may have found their go to scorer."
On a second note, I want Novak back!
