Pincus Tweets Randolph Trade on Hold

Here's another tweet from Eric Pincus today which involves both the Randolph trade and Shawn Marion:

"Clipper fans - Grizzlies are busy trying to help Marion get to Dallas - Clipper trade not in danger but on hold til that's resolved" http://twitter.com/ericpincus

Judging from the recent posts, there's going to be a lot of angry folks on this blog if Marion ends up in Dallas and it somehow causes the Randolph trade to unwind.

I was wondering why we hadn't seen anything on this...

I’ll have to crunch the numbers some… not entirely sure why the Marion trade affects the Randolph trade.

I wont mind that Marions coming to DAL could unravel the Z-Bo trade

another rumor is that the Clips, if they want Z-Bo to go, must also join, and that the Clips will get, or should i say DTS, cash considerations, around $ 2 Million, and Devean George, and the Clips sending out Ricky Davis to Toronto, with Toronto giving back the conditonal 2nd rounder. (Hassan Adams trade.) DAL will also send out cash to buyout Ricky Davis in Toronto.

They're branching out

They’ve helped the L.A. teams, and now they’re just taking their act elsewhere.

Gay or Mayo? Im sure one of the two can play the 3. Ill even take Thabeet for the right price.

I was always worried that

too much celebration could cause Pincus to change his mind! Its time to piss and moan about how much we miss Randolph! Maybe that will change everything!

In light of the Yao story,

Can the Clippers get a retroactive Disabled Player Exception? Seriously.

LO

It’s time to bring LO back…

LO would cost the clips too much

Something tells me it would cost the Clips more than most teams to acquire his services.

He hates the Clips, and he really really hates Sterling.

He hates the Clips?

For what, putting up with his suspension for testing positive for pot? Clips didn’t suspend him, the league did that. I really loved the guy when he was a Clip, but he’s got zero reasons to be angry at the organization… and I’m not at all sure he is.

From what I remembered

Lamar was the person who did and said all the right things. Kind of like Elton Brand (except Elton gave us a word and ran away.) We matched Brands contract and got Brand back (I forgot from who.) Eventually Brand ran away.

With Lamar, Odom said all the right things. Eventually when his contract his expired, he made it publicly known that he didn’t want Clippers to match Miami’s offer. Whatever the reason, it wasn’t because the Clippers were cheap this time. It was because Odom really didn’t want to play for us.

Did he ever say why he didn’t like the Clippers? Never knew that, that’s interesting.

No clue man.

I heard that it might have been DTS. Another rumor were because “its the CLippers”. More rumors continued to speculate that he wanted to win. Whatever Lamars moltives were, atleast he was honest, unlike Brand.

In terms of standings

He’s pretty close to being as far away from the Clippers as possible. Hopefully the Blake/EJ/DJ era begins with a bang.

Take the Pincus Tweet at face value....

“Clipper trade not in danger…” He’s made twenty tweets since that one, and doesn’t reference it again.
