Color me confused by this...
I don’t know what the “plus 20 percent on top of that” means for starters. But more confusing is that these numbers are either way less (as is) or a little more (plus 20%) than Derrick Rose, who is scheduled to make $5,184,480 in this his second season. Since draft picks salaries are tied directly to the cap, it makes sense that BG’s numbers would be down a little…. but not that much.

But now I’m just glad Blake has a chance to start. Before the Randolph trade, seems to me that Zach could have and probably would have shared his minutes with Blake. Now Blake practically has PF all to himself.

4.15+20% puts him at like 4.98 so thats right where you would expect with a little drop for the reduced BRI.
Its weird phrasing, but even though rookie salaries are set, they can still go up 20%.
