I knew he was there from his Tweets. He’s the only real veteran mentioned by name – everyone else has played at most a couple years – I mean, Crittendon was the second most experienced player mentioned. It says something that a two time all star is in camp with a bunch of rookies and other youngsters.

Grgurich of course is the assistant the Clippers are trying to hire, but I haven’t heard anything about that since the story first came out.

Good question...

based on the Fanhouse story, it sounds like coaches coach… but he had one Tweet that implied he was coaching. So color me confused. I’ll ask him next time I see him.

Also, seems like Bassy is there too based on another Baron Tweet. So that makes four Clippers at least who are there – Baron, EJ, DJ and Bassy. Blake Superior would be there if he wasn’t nursing the shoulder. Team chemistry?

Great point. It does seem like our guys get along really well.

Notably absent from the “guys working hard” stories has been Al Thornton though. Not saying he’s slacking or anything like that, just wondering what he’s up to and why he’s not with the other youngsters. Seemed like EJ, DJ, Griffin and Taylor (before he got waived) were spending a lot of time together in Vegas. Thornton sure would benefit a lot from that kind of workout.

Yes...

He was cleared to start shooting back in July during Summer League. I saw him at the training facility once this summer. I think he’s doing his rehab here.
