This exercise is surprisingly hard with the 28 point cap.
In Gordon we trust
darn it misread it 27 point cap
I guess then I would move Sessions for Telfair. And that should total 27
In Gordon we trust
I still count 28
3 + 4 7 + 5 2 = 21
3 + 2 + 2 = 7
21 + 7 = 28
:-)
Poster for next year? I'm thinking My Little Pony.
darn you and your math and logic
ok switch Bibby with Fisher (only Laker I respect enough to have on my team) and that should do it.
In Gordon we trust
+1 for Best clip fan
I too was deciding between Rubbel or bestclipfan. A bit tough choice for me, but utimately, the bench + Lebron somwhat settled it.

Quick tip guys: I don’t know how other people filled out their starting lineup, but I did who I wanted to be a 6 pointer first (or 7 depending who I wanted), and then I chose my bench, that way I knew how much I had left to distribute amongst my starters. Goodluck guys!
Mike Smith on Eric Gordon: "The Clippers may have found their go to scorer."
On a second note, I want Novak back!
Quick question guys?
Should I have downgraded Jermain O’Neal to Leon Powe and upgraded my bench (Jrue Holiday) to Randy Foye?
Mike Smith on Eric Gordon: "The Clippers may have found their go to scorer."
On a second note, I want Novak back!
a
i’d probably just dump jermaine all together , play ak47 as the starting 4 where he is more effective, shane at the 3…
and have 4 points left.
jermaine oneal for 4 points is terrible.
Agreed, but I wasnt sure if I was ablt to toy around with the position
because many of the guys are combo players. If given the choice, I’d put Al horford at PF (listed at center in this case) and Roy can play all 1,2,3.
Can we toy around with the position guys, or are we limited to what it says there?
Mike Smith on Eric Gordon: "The Clippers may have found their go to scorer."
On a second note, I want Novak back!

Maybe I’ll play later.
Nice to see that Baron is still a ‘5’ at least. Of course, he didn’t play like a ‘5’ last year. And I noticed that nobody took him.
Why is DeAndre the only 1 on the entire list? Is he the worst player in the league?
In this world, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant. Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. - Elwood P. Dowd
Fun
PG: Westbrook 3
SG: Roy 6
SF: LeBron 7
PF: Scola 3
C: Perkins 3
Bench: Steve Blake 2, Mike Miller 2, DeAndre Jordan 1,
Coach: Rick Adelman (why is Popovich not available)
With LBJ and Roy on the floor, the PG positon need only be someone that can play some defense (though I wish Westbrook could hit a shot).
The front line features Scola and Perkins, both at a bargain. Mike Miller and Steve Blake provide shooting off the bench, Thankfully, DJ only cost one poiint. He’s good for his size and six fouls.
Do not worry. (Matthew 6:27)
I could easily switch out Paul for Westbrook and Battier for LBJ
or do Wade, Deron Williams and Battier along with Perkins and Scola.
Once I settled on a front court of Scola and Perkins, and it only cost me 6 points, and my bench is only 5 points, I have many options.
I have wasted too much time.
Do not worry. (Matthew 6:27)
here’s my lineup:
PG: Mike Bibby 2
SG: Eric Gordon 4
SF: Marvin Williams 3
PF: Blake Griffin 5
C: Dwight Howard 7
Bench
Nick Young 2
Micheal Finley 2
DeAndre Jordon 1
Coach: Byron Scott
All young’ns except vets at PG and bench. and the bench vet has championship experience…although when he’s gone i’d loose my purest shooter (not counting EJ)
..other option is change Finely for Novak
i would also like to have Shaun Livingston as a starter after Bibby in the future. i still think he can make a comeback..@ least as a pass first pg
Livingston dishing to EJ, BG, DW, MW, or even DJ!
Young will be my scoring punch off the bench
DJ is a STEAL at 1 pt (allowed me to upgrade from DJ Augustin to Bibby)
i’m looking at a run-n-gun style team, i dont think Mike D’Antoni has enough D to win big, Byron Scott was a tough decisions but I believe in his turnarounds with both NJN and CP3 Hornets. he is a good young coach.

Different one
I posted an obvious title team on Lakers Blog, but gonna build around CP3 instead of Lebron here. Going for max value
CP3- (7)- He’s CP3, and this time he will have actual teammates.
Rudy Fernandez (3)- At 3 points he’s a steal. Moves amazing without the ball and CP3 can find those guys.
Shawn Marion (4)- We all saw how good Shawn was in Phoenix when he had a real PG. Well, he does again.
Luis Scola (3)- Scola is a 3? That’s kind of silly. Good defense, a jumper, can post up if needed. A steal and would fit with Paul.
Chris Andersen (3)- Not a Chris fan, but his defense is the best among 3s in any position. He can also at least catch a ball and get some freebies thanks to Paul.
Przybilla (2)- A steal at 2
Speights (2)- Kind of a big lineup, but also a steal at 2.
Stuckey (3)- Can cover both guard positions for you off the bench.
So yeah. CP3 would bring out the absolute best in Marion/Rudy/Scola. Andersen gives you defense and cleanup buckets, Scola/Paul bring more defense and are both solid rebounders for their position. Przybilla/Speights bring you size off the bench. Stuckey brings additional scoring and can cover either guard.

I felt hypocritical...
Talking about how important glue guys were, and then not having a single one on “my team”. This team would be fun, but they’re a little light in the ass.
No one picked Tim Duncan...?
Ageism I guess. But I’d build a team around him rather than any of the “sevens” on this list.
If you're talking about a young Tim Duncan...
…He would also be my first choice to build a franchise around.
Blazersedge mods suck
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking...
But he’s still good. To me, it just doesn’t make sense that he’s a “6” and Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant’s are “7’s”. If he’s been downgraded because of his age and I want to win this year, then I still take him first and spend the point elsewhere.
