No surprises there From Steve. Thanks to Citizen Highriser for posting this. This is big news. I must say, I'm a tad surprised myself. I'm not convinced Kaman was the best player on the Clippers this week, but obviously at some level the award is cumulative. This certainly makes it much more likely that he'll be selected to play in the All Star game. In fact, assuming neither he nor the team goes completely into the tank in the next few weeks, I'd say he's approaching lock status, as hard as that is to fathom. But if you think about it, there have only been eleven of these awards handed out in the conference this season, and he's won it twice. And there are 12 players on an All Star team. It's pretty hard to ignore him at this point.
