Losing hope for the season

I hate reading pessimism.  I hate writing it.  But i'm pretty much done with this season.  It's been a downhill roller coaster ride.

Clips are about 5 games out of the 8th playoff spot, with ZERO reinforcements coming.  It's been one blow after another....  Of course, as KA so eloquently put it, the team has not really disspointed when it comes to re-gaining respectability.

It just seems like it's not in the cards for this year.

***Kaman is getting worse, not better.  Coupled with the deserved snub, will it make him angrier (better) or more whiney (worse)

***Blake Griffin

***Beat LA, Boston, lose to NJ, Indiana

***give away winnable games

***Camby is on the verge of being traded

***Every 3 game winning streak is followed by a 3 game losing streak

***Eric Gordon has regressed

***Thornton is not proving to be a starting quality 3--- so he wasnt so much a steal at 14 anymore

***Butler is long gone after the season-- mostly because he only plays well on every other night

***Craig Smith is gone after the seaon unless he wants to stay on for cheap

***Baron is revitalized--- but for what?  a sub .500 team?  Will he stay  motivated for next year?

---Just doesnt seem like it's going to get much better than this.  I cant forsee a crazy streak of them winning 8 of 9 and getting back into the hunt this year.

It's bleak -- and we're miles away from from Lebron James.

Sorry, this is depressing.  Go Clippers!

I feel like...

Not all hope is lost. This season is far from over. After their current road trip they get a couple games at home, then All Star break, and hopefully during that time they can pull it together. I mean playing away for such a long stretch is hard, so losing to the Nets for example, although embarrassing, is not a complete shocker. And to think that they have exceeded their win total of last season is a sign of things heading north. Could they, should they be playing better this season? Yes and no. Yes based on experience and a good mix of young and veteran players. No, based on the many roster changes and the loss of Griffin.

"look, you can find any coach you want, bring him in here and run the situation. But I don't think they are going to do as good a job as I do." -Mike Dunleavy Sr.

baron, is a headache, his inconsistent play bothers me,

is he capable of shooting over 50%, everytime i look at the boxscore he is always in the 30’s, no i was not mad at the signing, but i am mad with his inefficient play, look at the other pgs in this league, i dont know the stats for sure but i know cp3 nash tony parker all shoot around 50%, my point is he cant be our best player, we need a true number 1, and if we dont get that and we r stuck with him being our number 1 player for 3 yrs, its going to be a long 3 yrs…blake get back soon and live up to the hype please
