ONE WIN DOES NOT MAKE A SEASON BUT.....................

this win was much much  more satisfactory than the Celtic win.

It is more than a "W" simply because the other team was the Lakers; Of course, everytime other teams play the champs there is always that motivation for the other team to literally "run over" the Lakers if possible and hopefully win  convincingly by a large margin. There is a more sadistic way of inflicting pain to the dreaded Purple and Yellow team and that is by tearing their defense apart; showing them their weaknesses and running plays that would expose these weaknesses (this was effectively exhibited by Baron/Camby/Kaman plays  in the middle) . Another way is by frustrating their MVP and forcing  him to miss 2/3's of his shot, Still another way is by running the ball and  taking advantage of the weak transition defense of the Lakers and converting  26 fastbreak points (the Clips are not noted for this kind of play) which surprised everybody else even the Clipsnation! Lastly, to break the Laker's backbone int he 4rth quarter, a team should release the "Rhino" to finally stump on the Lakers.

Dunleavy and his staff must have designed all of these well in advance to greet their fans a very "Properous New Year" that might lead the nation of the Clips to the "promise land".

Congratulations Dunleavy for a wonderful win!!!!!
