Interesting
Thank you for sharing those links.
I am wondering how much the content on the XBOX 360 will differ from that online on ESPN3. Even if the content is the same, they are both different sets of form factors which will probably be targeted to more individuals and thus expanding ESPN’s market reach.
As far as the multiple screens with digital media, I think this field is starting to grow, but it hasn’t really reached the point of it becoming extremely useful. Companies like Cisco have put out technology in the suites in a couple arenas to do things like watch the game while being able to shop for anything you see on your TV screen at the game, using the TV at the game. If Microsoft is clever with their user interface, I think they can do some really cool things with the Kinect.
Here could be one likely senario: “You just turned on the NBA game and are curious how your favorite NBA player is doing. Well, just make a gesture pointing toward that player and you well see where the player has shot from, what his stats are, tweets about how the player has done with game timestamps, and much more. Maybe you can even add a widget that give reall time commentary from post regarding that player at Clipsnation.com.” This could turn to something exciting, if it is done well.
It’s always nice to look at posts in the past to find trends, see what happened on the same day in the past, and even see predictions come true. Thank you again.

fantasy sports is the big driver for this need to merge the broadcast with the geeky stuff
synching up one’s fantasy sports team that can be called up or shown as a sport ticker is a no brainer…
