So are we not in a situation where the future seems to be now?
Is it not as if everything has been fast forwarded and we see how our future would look like?
What we have now, is it not what everybody has wished for?
What a great opportunity for the young players to show what they can do! And they are entertaining and definitely showing lots and lots of potentials!
If they are playing pre-season games, then it would certainly be ok.
Unfortunately, these are regular games and the losses are for real.
Now, the Clipper nation is in a panic mode.
Their cry is "get those veterans back"!!!
The player who is mostly affected is Blake. With EJ and CK constantly threatening to score from the outside, Blake's playing territory was not heavily populated. Without the two, Blake's playing ground is diminished and so was his productivity. There's so much traffic where he used to roam freely. Due to his limited offensive skills, he suffers.
Bledsoe, Aminu, DJ and WW are now all on the job training and their PT have all increased thereby giving them all the time to sharpen whatever skills they have , but, what a price the whole team pays!
Now we cannot complain of the rooks lacking playing time, the vets not playing hard, etc.,etc..
We got what we wished for and much more!
I hope we can all be patient and enjoy a foretaste of the future.
Anyways, we see them playing hard and developing character.
Let's encourage our young team. They will win some and perhaps start winning soon!
