Would the Clippers be in a good position to make a run at Marc Gasol when he becomes available?  I happen to think he is a very solid, efficient and reliable player.  His stats don't pop out because he's a team player.  He shoots a high percentage but is ok with letting Rudy take all the shots.  

He's the steady post presence the Clippers could use (who also has a good mid range jumper).  I have nothing against Kaman and would be satisfied with him, but I think Gasol would be an upgrade due to his steadiness.  Kaman tends to make bonehead plays that kill momentum.

As a fan this would be good for my blood pressure.  Kaman gets my blood boiling sometimes (OMFG WHY DID YOU JUST FLIP IT UP THERE AND MISS A BUNNY?!!! WHYYY?!!!!!).
