Growing whether you like it or not is painful.
The Clippers want to rise but growing as a team goes hand in hand with wanting to rise.
Never mind the 3rd quarter enigma. Never mind Blake's 2nd half play that sometimes are not as inspiring as the 1st half. Never mind the inconsistencies of Chris K. and the inability of Deandre to gain maturity and improve in the last 3 years. Never mind all these and a lot of other things.. they are part of growing..
The most important thing is that they are growing and growing fast! The losses hurt but if you are watching carefully, as a they continue to play hard (although not all the time smart) they are developing character and it is showing.
The new core of Blake, Gordon & Bledsoe (and Kaman ?) is blending better and getting tougher to play against. Not that they are now comparable to the "Evil Three" of Miami, but they are as exciting to watch as those players although not as good (YET!) and could be surprisingly competitive against the other LA team come December 8.
The waiting could be as painful also for the Mother Clipper Nation . But I commend the coaches for patiently weaning the Clipper Child and letting them grow. I just hope that nobody loses patience....the child, the mentors (coaches) and the mother.
