Would like some input on this one.
Kaman + Butler+ 1st for Iggy and Hawes
Kaman would reunite with his good buddy, and Philly would have one of the better frontcourts in the league. Sool would be able to play in his home town, and the first is just to get philly to bite.
The Clips would get the defensive minded wing they need in the starting lineup who can knock down clutch shots, and Iggy would be a lot closer to his roots being in LA.
As far as the 2011 first round pick is concerned, I don't think the Clippers need another rookie prospect at this time to try to develope so that kills two birds with one stone.
I feel Hawes could do the things that we need from Kaman on the offesive side of the ball, and it wouldn't be so bad for his morale if we had to sub DJ in for him early. I think a starting unit of:
Blood(or Baron)
EJ
Iggy
Griffin
Hawes
would be pretty good on both sides of the ball.
I'm not concentrating on Baron just yet because a trade like this could get him hyped. Let's not forget that Baron had quite a few passes dropped by Kaman when he first came to the clippers and that he had to constantly be in Kaman's ear about things that have yet to be resolved. If BD stil doesn't respond like we need him to then we could probably trade him later in the season.
Thanx
