I've been listening to all the bashing of Sterling about his heckling Baron Davis. Not just fans, but sports talk hosts and sports reporters have weighed in on this latest chapter of Sterling's follies. When I heard what he was actually saying, I couldn't disagree with any of Sterling's rants: everything he said was true. I thought to myself. "here's a guy who's paying someone millions of dollars(13?) a year to play his best basketball and he doesn't even bother to come into training camp in shape."
I really dislike Colin Cowherd's demeanor. I never listen to his show. But sometimes I'm subjected to promos of him while I'm listening to another show. So of course I hear a promo of Cowherd, talking about the Sterling heckling incident, and he agrees with me! Maybe he should criticize Davis in private, but he's really not doing anything different than Phil Jackson does pretty much everyday. And he's the guy writing the checks, not Jackson(or VDN.) In comparison to some of the bad things that Sterling has done previously, this is really not that bad.
