Maybe Craig and Baron are being traded!
It’s been a crazy couple of days here in Clipper Nation!

Adrian Wojnarowski says
the Bulls, Bucks, and Bobcats are interested in trading for Gooden.
Wonder what we’d get in return.

I don't think they can give us anything like the production of Gooden..
I’d like to keep him, but it looks like we’re going to buy him out.

I'd take a expiring deal and a 2nd round pick and cash
Never hurts to stockpile some talent that we could keep overseas or maybe find the next Dejuan Blair/Rhino type undersized hungry PF. Cash would be useful as maybe DTS will spend it on our next head coach.

Where did you hear this from?
Can’t find anything regarding when he comes back. I saw him at the game (wearing jeans, a unbutton collar shirt and a sportsjacket) next to Blake Griffin (wearing a custom tailored suit) and he looked fine (no discernible limp). Would like to see what he can do with 30-35 mpg.

that would do it.

Notice how the ball is swinging
Moving the ball gets open shots
I was looking at his A/TO today..
His last game he had 12 assists, and 1 turnover.. His turnovers are 1.3/game.. I think he’ll be a breath of fresh air.

What has DJ done so far?
Seriously guys, what the hell. Why does everybody hate Kaman?
by Michael White on Feb 17, 2010 8:00 PM PST up reply actions
Why?
That’s what I don’t get. Is it the way he looks? I mean, others have commited turnovers, he shouldn’t be receiving hot pases on the move from Butler (that’s just stupid) and the only other guy who can play center (Jordan) has done exactly dick so far while Kaman has played well.
So ya, lets complain about Kaman!
by Michael White on Feb 17, 2010 8:02 PM PST up reply actions
don't hate him but he makes some ludicrous mistakes
by dulciusEXasperis on Feb 17, 2010 8:02 PM PST up reply actions
You're right
And when he’s out, we really fall apart. He just plays goofy sometimes.
It was an honest question
Is it the way he looks? If Kaman looked like Dwight Howard but played the exact same way, would people be so frustrated?
In any event, I used to argue that part of the Z-bo hate was the way he looked (overweight.)
by Michael White on Feb 17, 2010 8:07 PM PST up reply actions
His looks might be a factor
But he’s a quarter step slow, and sometimes his mind seems to mirror his physical lack of grace. A clunky fellow, yet with skills. He’s an easy target.
I don't hate Kaman, but...
you’re comparing a 6 year vet that gets $10 million/season vs. a sophomore that’s paid under $1 million/season..
We should expect more out of Kaman, at this point
"look, you can find any coach you want, bring him in here and run the situation. But I don't think they are going to do as good a job as I do." -Mike Dunleavy Sr.
by CLiPPz WeRD 12 on Feb 17, 2010 8:02 PM PST up reply actions
Well, Kaman is the best player on the team. So we expect more and get more
For some though, they expect perfection from him. He’s a center. Center’s occasionaly turn the ball over. It happens.
by Michael White on Feb 17, 2010 8:03 PM PST up reply actions
its mostly the ridiculous turnovers and passes.
its incredible the amount of stupid turnovers he produces,
ie. everytime he makes a move in the post he puts the ball at his knees and he gets it stolen alot of the time.
also his poor rebounding and defense
HE doesn’t even go for the block anymore he just stares at the ball and if it’s a miss he won’t even get the rebound unless it comes straight to him.
I keep expecting his 3 footers to stop rattling out
They look good when he shoots them. I almost blame the rim.
Oh, okay
That’s fair I guess. I hope B Griff is good enough to be the number 1 option….

Yes he really does!
You guys will like him … I miss him in a Blazers uniform but he’ll hit the floor running like he always does. Was pretty sad he got traded but that’s the way it goes. Just wait until Outlaw gets back … he and Steve will do some damage (in a good way)!
Very cool! You'll enjoy him.
Maybe not a top-flight PG in this league, but he’s a very solid player. He doesn’t bring a lot of excitement to the table, but he also takes very little off of it.

remember getting the clips feed earlier this year
easily one of the best 2 or 3 crews in the league. knowledgeable color guy, and neither one is nearly as annoyingly homeristic as most crews are.
(also a Blazer fan)
I think you’ll like Blake – solid spot up shooter, great guy to have sitting there waiting for the kickout pass. he’s kind of a play it safe point guard – not going to make too many flashy plays for you, but he won’t turn it over much either. as long as he’s not being asked to be too much of a halfcourt playmaker, he’ll give you solid, error-free play, knock down open shots, and manage a game well.
I think you’ll like Travis too. Dude is money on the one dribble pullup (might need to shake some rust off), and can shoot it over anyone – he doesn’t need space. also hits the corner 3 really well, and is athletic as can be. You’ll get frustrated at times by his low rebounding numbers considering his size and athleticism, and his habit of getting lost at times on defense, but he is a solid player and can score well.

funny how though I hate when Kaman settles for jumpers
That would have been the perfect time for a step jab free throw line jumper in rhythm

no, not weird at all to see that the clips were losing, but i saw blake was starting the second half and ralph made some mention of “all the trades going on” and i was like “OH MY GOD, THEY DEALT BARON”. i guess MDsr isn’t a miracle worker. although he did do his job today. where’s the guy who yesterday was on all day crying the blues and saying how we would never get rid of bassy and we wouldn’t have room and sterling was being sterling, and refusing to wait and see what would happen? he’s mysteriously absent, guess he had to wash his hair or walk the dog. i think some of our fans have the same level bball IQ as our players, unfortunately.
