You need a Superstar in the NBA
With a big summer of free agency coming up the need to land a superstar is paramount if a team wants to win an NBA Championship. If you go back and look at the last 30 years of NBA Champions, what you will see is that nearly every champion had at least one superstar. I'm not talking about all-stars, but superstars like Bird, Magic, Kareem, Duncan, Shaq and Kobe, Jordan, Hakeem, Wade, Garnett and Pierce, Thomas, Doc and Moses . The only exception I can think of is the 2004 Pistons who had only one all-star in Ben Wallace, but had a host of great players and beat a superstar laden Lakers team.
Superstars take over games and also get the benefits of calls from the refs. They also make their teammates better either through their contaigous will to win or by commanding defenses to concentrate on stopping them leaving other players open.
While its true you can be a good competitive team without a true superstar, its difficult to win an NBA championship without one. Here'e hoping that the Clippers land a superstar in free agency or that Blake eventually becomes one.

he is the only player on our roster
that seems to have “IT.” From going to the 2 of the preseason games it just felt that he was special. Whenever he stepped on the court the game just felt different. I hope all our prayers are answered and he comes back 100%
Broken knee cap...
Did Nancy Kerrigan ever come back 100%? I’m not trying to be sarcastic, actually I am curious to know what kind of long term impact a broken knee will have…anyone?
"I want someone who will, you know, let me put it in or who [will] suck on it." – Donald Sterling
She says she did
Seven weeks after the attack, Kerrigan skated what she considered to be the best two performances of her life and won the silver medal in the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics at the Hamar Olympic Amphitheatre, finishing second to Oksana Baiul.

Blake mutha effin Griffin! lol
Blake looked like a superstar in the summer league, but then again he had Mike mutha effin Taylor throwin lobs at every opportunity. Mike Taylor had an amazing touch around the rim. I haven’t seen Baron nor Bassy with that skill yet.

I also haven't seen
Baron or Bassy turn the ball and lose control as badly as Taylor either. If only we can formulate a scheme to get him back over here. I’d have Taylor over Bobby Brown…
