Durant is a fan of Clipper Darrell
I stubmbled on this artice today while checking my Twitter. For all the negative press that people like DTS, MDSR, and Baron get it's nice to occassiaonally read some postiive news regarding the team/it's followers.
Maybe Clipper Darrell can lure Durant to the Clipps in a few years. It's nice to dream, that sure would be nice.

Me and Clipper Darrell
What’s good everyone? Man, I’ll tell you what, it sure is nice to be back home. We’re in the middle of a three-game home stand right now before heading back on the road for three more games. Not sure if you saw us on our last road trip to Denver, L.A. and Sacramento, but we finished up pretty strong.
At our game in L.A. I got a chance to say what’s up to my man Clipper Darell, the guy who wears a half red, half blue suit and loves to heckle opponents. He’s obviously a staple at Clippers games.
I’ve known Clipper Darrell for a few years now. He came out to Vegas a couple of times to cheer for the Clippers during Summer League and I met him out there and we became friends. So every time I see him I make sure I talk to him for a little bit. I know when he’s yelling it’s all fun. It’s nothing malicious. He just calls everybody “U-G-L-Y, ugly.” But he’s cool every time I see him. He’s a real good dude. He screams the loudest when I’m at the free throw line, so it’s hard not to hear him.
I think the Staples Center is the only arena where someone has heckled me so much. That’s not to say I don’t get yelled at in other opposing arenas. People talk about my mom, my grandma, everything. I’ve been called skinny, been told I need to eat, but it’s all good. It’s nothing I get too upset over.
Well, we’ve got two more home games starting Friday against New Jersey. The boo birds will have to wait until we get to Charlotte next week. Any other famous/crazy fans I should no about in other arenas? Let me know in the comments section.

Good on Clipper Darrell.
Isn’t it about time DTS gave him some free seats?
Metro PCS sponsors Clipper D with Free Seats.
Everything starts out New, Gets Old and Dies or is Destroyed.
He has a few sponsors
Bailey paid $1,300 for the original suit, but now he gets them for free as part of a sponsorship with swsuits.com. He is also sponsored by Metro PCS. As a result, he no longer has to pay for season tickets.
Found that in this article http://blogs.uscannenberg.org/neontommy/2009/11/clipper-darrell-is-a-fan-throu.html
FA in 2010.

Oh, I didn't know that.
I recall a year or two ago where he said the seats were the best he could afford. I guess it’s changed since then.

DTS
didn’t DTS fly Clipper Darrell to PHX for one of the payoff games??
Somehow people forget to report on this when they call DTS a racist bigot.
