Cleveland was always the favorite
seems like James just filed the paperwork assuming the most likely scenario plays out; that he stays in Cleveland. I don’t feel any more certain about that outcome now then I did yesterday.
I wouldn't say that
he can take his jersey number with him to his next team. I think he is just preparing just in case he does stay. I don’t even think Lebron knows what he is going to do after this season. A major part of his decision rests on whether his team can make it to the finals. If the Cavs don’t make it to the finals I don’t see Lebron spending anymore time in Cleveland.

Going along with he's not even sure of the offseason...
He had to make the decision this week, the deadline to make the request to the NBA is Wednesday.
So yea, IF he stays he had to do it now either way.
Now if he DID NOT do it, then it leaves 1 of 2 things:
1) He decided to go with just wearing #23 despite what he said earlier in the season
2) He decided that he will not be with the Cavs next season
Well, It's Official.
Bobby Brown isn’t coming back next season. It’s too bad.
That's his perogative.

Agreed.
I know it’s been done, but can’t resist.

I think Lebron changing his number to 6 is deeper than many people would think
It has nothing to do with MJ’s legacy or jersey sales.

Thanks for making my day HVYDRT, lmao!
I agree it has nothing to do with MJ
I do think sales are the main factor. LBJ is probably pissed that Kobe outsells him. http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/34961309/ns/sports-nba/
