Feeling bummed? How about a sweet little Laker fiasco...

I have this little fantasy going that Kobe will meet up with Durant in the upcoming first round. After the thrashing Oklahoma gave the Lakers a few days ago, I kind of think they have a chance in a series against them. Who here remembers when 8th seeded Denver topped #1 Seattle? I'd love to see Phil Jackson in the same sort of shock and dismay as George Karl back then.

Andrew Bynum could be the x-factor. Even if he makes it back, though, his performance has been inconsistent this year. Kevin Durant's, meanwhile, has been anything but. So what do people think are the chances that Kobe meets his match at a premature stage? Gotta admit it's worth cheering for.

Worth pointing out, I don't see either Portland or San Antonio giving the Lakers the same sort of problem. Am I not the only one? If so, it could be worth cheering for a handful of Thunder losses over the next few days.
