Stay Home
should have been drilled into their heads…
Roger Sterling: To my knees, Don. They're bringing to my knees!"
Did he tell the coaching staff this?
I don’t see why he would miss shoot around, when basketball is his job. If he does have the stomach flu, why did he not contact one of the coaches?

Thanks for making my day HVYDRT, lmao!
that's what they said in the pregame show on radio...
Roger Sterling: To my knees, Don. They're bringing to my knees!"
Ralph and Mike said...
Baron missed shoot around, and Kim Hughes rule is if you mis shoot around, you don’t start. Baron is dressed and on the bench, I am sure if he was sick, he would not have dressed.
HVYDRT007-"EJ's value is diminishing Game By Game"

Are you serious?
You are asking LL if Baron told the coaching staff about his stomach flu? How on earth would he know?

Actually Michael....
The Clippers are my team, but I also like the Utah Jazz and the Chicago Bulls.

Naturally
I mean, who doesn’t have 3 favorite teams and tell people from the city of one of their favorite teams that they would never make a trip to Southern Cal.
by Michael White on Mar 9, 2010 4:37 PM PST up reply actions
My trip to Utah was not to see the Jazz, I have never been to a Jazz game
I made a trip to Utah for a wedding, I will admit that I have been to more than a few Bulls games, but that is b/c the United Center is only four hours from me. I also grew up a Bulls fan, there was a guy by the name of Jordan that played for the Bulls.

It is a question for anyone, maybe they know more about the situation. And yes I am serious, I want to know more about Baron not starting.

This game might just be one of the ugliest of the season
If the Magic play like they did on Sunday vs. the Lakers the Clippers don’t stand a chance :-(
I guess any lose from here on out is only helping our chances of getting Wall or Turner :-)

I'll take that bet
if nothing else the Magic will take our their starters at some point. You almost have to give up to lose by 40 in the NBA.
FA in 2010.
well, you only have to be outscored in every quarter by 10
The clippers are very capable of that against this team. That said, I’d take a clippers +40 bet :p

Magic are the favorite right now if you know basketball
They have the ability to stretch the floor with their 3 point shooters, they rebound the ball well, and they play great defense. I think if the Magic and Lakers meet in the Finals again, the Magic will get the best of them this time.

Sadly, you're right
Started off the year real rough going across the country to play some harder teams. As for our bball team there’s going to be a new coach next season so hopefully we can turn it around and become a solid mid-major.
Here are a few
Wake Forests’ – Aminu
Wets Virginia’s – Ebanks
Texas’ – James

SF's
Wesley Johnson (Syracuse)
Al-Farouq Aminu (Wake Forest)
Stanley Robinson (UCONN)
Paul George (Fresno State)
yeah it's not like the clips are blatantly playing bad
Orlando just seems like they never miss, and when they do, they get the offensive board. Everything the clips do on offense is contested and a struggle. Just overmatched, plain and simple.

Being a Clippers fan is at least schedule friendly
Don’t have to worry about those pesky games in April May or June. Heck you can even take half the game off most nights.

Anyone watch Kaman when Dwight dribbled it down the court?
He decided not to run and he looked behind him to see if there was someone else to guard.

I like Hughes interviews
his analysis is kind of like a fans. He’s always like “I don’t know why blah blah blah”. Lots of sarcasm and disbelief. Seems like a decent guy.
FA in 2010.
Maybe they can show more of these "Blakes Takes"
sadly these are far more entertaining than the games have become.
Yea
Blake is pretty funny. His monotone voice reminds me of Shaq as well as his wry sense of humor.

There bench might be better than our starters
Redick, Jason Williams, Gortat, Ryan Anderson and Pietrus is probably even with Butler, Blake, Kaman, Gooden and Outlaw. Close enough anyways.
FA in 2010.
Also deep pockets
They are deep in the luxury tax. Brandon Bass would possibly start for us right now, he barely plays for them though. I can’t see DTS ever go into the luxury tax for the Clips.
FA in 2010.
Sounds like he got canned
I can’t see him resigning and giving up the guaranteed cash. I wonder who we will bring in to run the team? The Larry Brown stuff won’t happen until the end of the season I assume.

He's in the middle of a playoff push
he’s not going to be available until the off season.

Maybe some kind of buyout
he probably wanted some kind of extension to stay on as GM. Clippers might save a few bucks by buying him out early and now MDsr can pursue a job elsewhere.
FA in 2010.
Well...
…I was was actually afraid he was going to come back and coach them next year. Guess that won’t happen, thank God!
he does that to everyone, but while he's here he usually doesn't disappoint
I’ll still never forget him taking a rag tag team featuring the 2 tons of fun boys (stanley roberts and hot plate williams) to the playoffs and giving the rockets all they could handle. Whether it is brown or not, no coach worth his salt was gonna want dunleavy there over his shoulder.

Not really
its not as if anyone came in after him and did that much better. That team had a bunch of misfits who played the same positions who were locked into crippling long term contracts (THANKS ISIAH!). He’s helped turn the Bobcats into a solid team.
FA in 2010.
but of course,,,, Larry Brown to the Clips is just speculation,,,,,
since MJ bought the team, he may stay in Charlotte
Who is available, that would be a good GM?

we should thank MDsr for the time he put in. 7 years at a dysfunctional franchise is a lot and while he stayed on long enough to be the villain he did make a few instrumental changes that at least pointed the organization in the right direction.

There needs to be a oro summer league
