Reading the last few days about Lebron James and his big decision, people are not really showing much love for Lebron to the Clippers as usual, but the clippers really are at least top 2 or 3 in the running and there instead 4th or 5th in the running all over the media.  Sure the fans are stepping up and doing great things.  But the media is still (i wanna say disrespecting) us.  I have read article after article about this recent topic and they almost in all the scenarios have the clippers as the least favorite in the race.  This is not always there are a few great articles......

there are plenty more but for the most part they all have the clippers at very low percentages and unlikely to land lebron.  Just like today in the Chris Sheridan chat the clippers came up two times and he just rejected everything and still counting them out!

When you factor in whats wrong with the clippers.....

1. No GOTO GUY- BD trys to be that man, but we very badly need that role as all teams do and how all the good teams have it!!

2. BD's Motivation- When he is motivated and having fun hes a top 3 PG in the league!

3.No small forward- Hello, adding the 2 time consecutive MVP at your weakest spot is a hole in one!

4. The clippers need something new, something to change the moral and work ethic for this organization, and i think LebronJames is just the guy to do that with, and blake griffin will add to that as well. 

5. The owner- Well he doesn't have many fans, and he hasn't made alot of good choices i understand that, but what he is doing is changing.  He's putting money in ads for change, he let the front office do what they needed to, to get money for this year, he fired a coach that was going no were after 7 seasons and is willing to let a player pick the coach.  He is trying and putting some effort in and i appreciate it. (about time right?)

**This "it's the clippers" is something that we cannot accept**
Most of the people that say hes not going to the clippers, or why would anyone go to the clippers DONT know anything about the team!!  People don't watch the clippers because when they come on Nat'l TV they change the schedule to were there not anymore.  People forget that we have a #1 draft pick in Blake griffin, people dont know that we are offering a PLAYER to pick his own COACH and GM, people dont know ANYTHING about Eric Gordon what was he rated out of all the sophmores on ESPN!  People don't know who chris kaman is, they don't know he was a all star and that he averages 20 and 10 for almost the whole season!  They don't know that we have a new state of the art practice facility.  The clippers have alot to offer, but people don't know.

It's there own stupidity for saying something like that!

Just the other day i was at a AAU coaches meeting(some people that actually know basketball) and we sat around the tv listening to were lebron james was going to go, and they all said Cleveland and the knicks.  But i started telling and reminding them all of what i said above and they were all convinced that they could possibly see a "Battle of the Staples Center" match up next year!  We are taking the blame for there lack of knowledge which is stupid!

I will honestly say i am a Baron Davis fan and I grew up in Charlotte likeing BD and the hornets and i went were he went NO/GS/LA.... and i can honestly say that i had my doubts when i was driving and heard "baron davissigns with the los angeles clippers" but when i looked at the team and what they had i felt alot better and know after a couple of lottery picks and BD with the help of James i know that they can compete.

I know that saying history dictates the future, but we are changing almost starting from scratch, from the players, management and talk of the uniforms logo and facilities.  They are taking a step in the right direction.  I hear people say they would love a "Battle of the Staples Center" Kobe VS Lebron, but if they want to see it they have to throw us a bone when they see that we are changing.  It's not like you want sorry teams in your league or whatever your in you want it to be competitive well show not only us some respect, but yourself in atleast knowing what your talking about and not looking stupid, because it's your own fault to disagree when you don't know the circumstances and thats whats wrong with the media.
