Baron Davis' Open Letter to 2010 Free Agents
I definitely don't think I need to pitch anyone on the benefits that Los Angeles has to offer. Everybody knows its one of the best places in the world. And when it comes down to it, it shouldn't be about the city anyway, its about what you want to accomplish. If you truly are passionate about the game of basketball and want to accept the challenge, come join us. We have a young nucleus that has the tools to compete every night, and I can't name another franchise whose fans have kept faith and supported their team like Clipper Nation has supported us.

but I deleted mine cause it’s stupid to have a triple post
"Smart dudes that know the game of basketball." - Al-Farouq Aminu referring to his new teammates
I love Baron Davis
He seems like such a down to earth dude. No wonder a lot of the players in the NBA like him
Yeah and this isn't ghost written at all either
this was all Baron. Nice to know that we have such a great communicator on the team, too bad he can’t be there to help persuade.
LeBron or Bust !!!!

Baron loves the fans
too bad so many hate him (not me I still wear his fear the beard shirt to games)
I still support Baron
I don’t see how people can call him a useless point guard when he clearly wasn’t last season.
Thats dope
That’s almost a tear jerker. I felt that should have been the pitch in an open letter to all free agents instead of a parade. If this teams wins a championship and becomes a playoff bound team every year. Who ever plays on the clips and plays a role in them becoming great besides the fans of the great clip nation. Would go down with the greats in history. If Lebron Mello Wade bosh or who ever comes here and the clips become great and win banners the main players would be immortal. And the fact that bdiddy sees this is great and the fact that he’s not saying he’s the main reason is even better he sees the youth and he must see that The Next Big Thing and the other young guns must be great. God bless America and God Bless the Clipers even though DTS would crucify jesus for an apartment building in downtown LA its ok.
He sure did cram a lot of education in two years

He could be taking classes
during the summer. He’s also been a bright guy, even more so since professional athletes aren’t exactly known for being the most intelligent bunch.

Very well written
…I’m almost surprised at how well written the letter was.
Boom is the Best,
all I can think of since it happened is the way LBJ lit up in his Larry King interview when asked about the Clippers. That was the only moment I saw in that interview that LBJ was very enthusiastic and happy or even Proud to talk about Baron and BGriff and the Clippers need for him.
It gave hope from that point and now to see this Class act of Boom,
please LBJ “You are are only hope”
Everything starts out New, Gets Old and Dies or is Destroyed.
Word is though that LeBron isn't that fond of Baron as a PG
stating that “Baron shoots too much”
Lebron is a student of the game
and Baron shooting too much is hardly a secret. Hopefully Baron will be content passing to super talented teammates (I think he will) since he’s already landed a fat contract.

The only person who said LeBron doesn't like Baron is Cowherd and Cowherd is an idiot
LeBron or Bust !!!!
it's a good thing there's Eric Gordon, point guard for the Clippers...
Cowherd’s NBA knowledge is pretty bad…
That was great!
We just need everyone to follow through on those words. That means everyone. From the last guy off the bench to the Donald.
The more DTS stays out of it other then writing Checks the better.

I wonder what this means
“The franchise is moving into a younger more vibrant direction. The negative mindset is gone.”
DTS is still there. Is BD talking about players, or . . . who?
"[Fans are] not technically a lot of times savvy. They don't understand and they don't weigh issues the way that [I] weigh them."
Mike Dunleavy, Sr.
Hey! This landed us Gomes, Foye, and Cook! Awesome!!
"look, you can find any coach you want, bring him in here and run the situation. But I don't think they are going to do as good a job as I do." -Mike Dunleavy Sr.

hopefully this helps lands us some talented free agents that will help fill our voids.
