Reunited - Will It Feel So Good? Where is T-Mac? : Poll
I'm with Steve and a lot of others here in the Nation. No LeBron, No Wade? Why overpay?
I love a good bargain - like how much Season tickets used to be in 2005!
So don't be a Memphis and give Rudy Gay $82M. Max money for a 30 year old Joe Johnson? Fogetaboutit.
I say bring back Shaun Livingston (Still got my jersey, Shaun - you hear me??? Come back!!!) Peoria, Illinois - O me o my It'd be great just to hear Ralphy gushing again about how Shaun is such a nice young man. 6'7" backup point guard for cheap? Yes, please! (And for those worried about his knees, do you remember the Thunder game last season - yeah the last game of the year where he ran the length of the court and dunked on us????)
Hey the Cat is back! Remember him stripping Dirk and Carmelo until they blew their tops in frustration??? Says he's in great shape and ready to play. Cuttino Mobley as a backup veteran bench player for cheap?? Yes, please!
How about Matt Barnes??? Not only would he be reuniting with the team but with Baron too!!!!
Everybody sing!!! Reunited and it feels so good!

So does anyone know what's going on with Tracy McGrady??? Can we get him for cheap? If so he might be a great deal as well. I'd take him before Richard Jefferson. RJ might be slow and steady to win the race but T-Mac's potential to score in bunches sounds so much more fun. Could he do it every night? Maybe not anymore but with such a great cast around him, i don't think the Clips need him to be that guy, no?

Don't get it. Wasn't anyone watching in New York?
Tracy McGrady is 100% finished as an effective NBA player.

Watch a Knicks Game?
Are you kidding? haha
So sad if it’s true…I really thought he could come back with that famous trainer guy he was working out with…
Haha, good one. We're too busy wathing REAL basketball. Oh, wait...
Tim Grover. He looked aight when he first got there, but he wore down, and wore down QUICKLY. Vet’s minimum I’d consider him, and then only because he’s a warm body.

Too early to say with certainty that TMac is done
he came back from serious micro-fracture surgery faster than anyone. He wasn’t even expected to play last year at all. I’d give him a $6 million two year with a team option for the 2nd year.
FA in 2010.
I think he'd be fairly easy to close
It’s worth the risk if we lose out on LBJ.

Grover, Right!
Well, if anything he might be motivated to show people they are wrong about him being washed up???
If we could get him cheap maybe he could still be serviceable with all the youth around him?
I see little risk
I get the feeling he can make a similar adjustment to Antonio McDyess… another guy who was a freakish athlete but lost much of it through injuries. McGrady has always been a terrific ball handler, rebounder and passer so even if he can’t score like he used to he would be a huge upgrade over players like Thornton and Butler.
FA in 2010.
would the Clippers give TMac that many minutes?
the Clippers want to develop their talent and in regards to your analogy, Vlad got quite the number of AB (chances)
Vlad had much more left than T-Mac
and Vlad isn’t injury prone, and plays baseball, which requires much less athleticism than basketball.
T-Mac sounds like a good idea just to have him on your bench, but that’s it.
