Quentin Richardson, take 3?
I'm a relatively new Clippers fan (fan since 2005), so I don't really know all the hsitory the team has with Q. Richardson. But, looking at the situation in Miami right now, we could probably get him for a bag of chips. He's a very good 3 point shooter and decent defender, and can start at the SF position. I think it's worth a shot, considering how our options in FA are becoming fewer and fewer by the day. If infact managements goal this coming season is to have the ability to stretch the floor at every position, then Q. Rich will probably warrant serious consideration by the FO. Ok all you long time Clipper fans, give me your best shot as to why we should or should not look at him as a possibility for us at the 3.

Also a great choice for the Gomes slot
Looks like he is going to the Magic though.

Q
Would be a good addition considering the dissapointment once again
Q-Rich is going to the Magic
I don’t think we would need a guy like him, but he was a nice piece when we had Miles, Odom, and Brand.
Heh
we had him last year for a week or so before we flipped him to Minnesota for Craig Smith and Telfair.
FA in 2010.
He has serious back issues
Back in the day Baylor told me they didn’t re sign him because they wouldn’t agree to waive his physical.

I thought it was for two reasons
1) The Clippers were preserving cap space for Kobe Bryant
2) The Suns signed him I think a 6 year 45 million dollar deal. This would have been the biggest contract the team ever signed at the time.
Don’t know about the back issues.

All I know is what Baylor told me
They wanted him back, he claimed, but they refused to waive the medical clearance, which he would not have passed.
No question he has serious back issues.

signing him and miles woulda been a desperate plea for season tickets
for wins, not so much.
it does probably close the door on matt barnes going back to the magic. add him to the list of potential 3s for us.

glad we didnt get Q
he is one of my faves on the team, but the way he acted that yr on phx was ridiculous i remember him being the cockiest most arrogant player for a guy who all he did was shoot, he was a front runner, i was glad phx traded him and he lost in NY, he is a bum
