FWIW, HOOPSWORLD is reporting Jeff Bower was fired for refusing to trade Chris Paul, and that the All-Star PG could be on the move in the coming weeks. I've come up with theoretical trades to get Paul before, here's one last one. Supposedly, CHA is looking to flip Dampier's immediately waiveable 13m contract for a Veteran PG. What do citizens think of this 3 way trade between LAC, NOH, and CHA? Baron Davis to CHA Erick Dampier's expiring contract, Chris Paul, Emeka Okafor, and James Posey to LAC Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, and the Minny Pick to NOH I see the Hornet's biting on this for two reasons: 1) CP3 has supposedly soured on NOH, and 2) The Clippers would be taking on the contracts of Okafor and Posey. The Hornets get Kaman whose deal is shorter and cheaper than Okafor's, young talent in Aminu, and a high lottery pick. The Clippers get arguably the best PG in the game, a center to replace Kaman, and a veteran SF to start over Gomes for the next two years. CHA gets the Vet PG they need. Thoughts? Might be possible to do this deal w/o including Kaman and Okafor (which would be my prefence by far).
