Interesting post on Ralph's Facebook:
Ralph Lawler: Everyone, Please understand - you can't hit a home run unless you swing for the fences and that is what the team is doing. If they swing and miss, the summer is not a failure - they'll just need to find another way to get better and there are all sorts of avenues available even in this very competitive market. The Cap Space will still be there should James spurn it. It will still be valuable. The team has had numerous opportunities to acquire valuable players with that space in recent weeks, but have chosen to wait until the FA process plays itself out. Same with trades - I can tell you that teams around the league have recently tried to acquire each and every player on the Clipper roster from the most senior to the most junior. Those talks are on hold but could be re-visited. Be patient a little while longer as the pieces to the puzzle move into place.
Could that mean that they'll try to acquire Igoudala or Deng?
