ok so i'm not like a basketball expert , but in the 8 years i've been a season ticket holder , i don't think i've seen anyone get so many undeserved b.s ticky tacky fouls as mr smith . maybe there is something that the ref's see that i can't ?. is he a dirty player ? did he do something in minnesota to warrant this perennial foul focus? . and it's not just one ref, it's one ref on any given night . and being as my tickets are 5th row (currently and never been higher than 10th row ) and my vision is 20/20, i would like to believe i would of picked up on any dirty play/ vibes from mr smith
. i remember i had watched a behind the scenes reality show about the nba referees. it seems one thing they do before a game is get together and watch the previous game of the team they are about to officiate. they said one thing they watch for is who is playing too aggressive and fouling people the most . well isn't it possible that that could lead to a game to game vicious circle of refferees overly focusing on a certain player ?' like if a player commits many fouls one night , and the refs review that game when preparing for the next game , there gonna be watching that player
and probably calling him for more fouls than someone who had a foul free or minimal prior game .
just a wacky theory but does anyone else notice the craig smith foul phenomenon or am i crazy?
