UPDATE: Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports tweeted Thursday that unless Cleveland raises its multiyear offer that starts around $3.5 million, Barnes will sign a one-year, $1.7 million deal with the Lakers.

Brian Winhorst of the Cleveland Plain Dealer added that he doesn't see the Cavs raising their offer at all -- since it's already the highest and they'd be bidding against themselves -- meaning Barnes will likely be a Laker.
