bring back James Singleton!
The Wiz had to renounce Jumpin James' rights... We should swoop in and make an offer. Our pitch:
1) He only has to beat out Ryan Gomes and AFA for the starting spot.
2) Clipper Nation loved him the last time around. Anyone remember the Free James Singleton shirts? Which leads us to...
3) Dunleavy's gone!

I would much rather have him than Brian Cook...
I really liked James’ hustle and rebounding. He did miss a few defensive rotations but overall, I really liked him.
+1

Talk about another hater comment
“picture a James Singleton putback dunk off a Baron Davis brick.”
The general fanpost here should have been all directed towards James Singleton, and yet towards the end, you somehow, just somehow, find a way to attempt to belittle Baron Davis. Talk about h-a-t-e-rrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
And James Singleton’s departure leads to Dunleavy being gone? Homie get off your haterade and hand over your keys cause your clearly too drunk to drive.
a little touchy there? all good, it's stressful being a clips fan
I’m actually a part of the camp that sees Baron as more of an asset than a bad contract, but the fact remains that his main weakness is his tendency to jack up pull up bricks from beyond the arc. Singleton happens to be excellent at turning bricks into putback dunks. What’s wrong with pointing out potential chemistry on the court? (That and I had to type out something to hit 75 words.)
Second, I never said Singleton’s departure lead to Dunleavy’s. I was referencing the fact that Singleton was always in Dunleavy’s doghouse as the lead-in to my final selling point of Dunleavy being gone.
…something tells me you haven’t really paid attention to Jumpin’ James’ play before. Man got talent.
I guess a nicer way of saying it is...
James Singleton will tear it up on the offensive glass with put-backs on any missed Clipper shots, whether it be from a missed shot on a good Baron Davis shot attempt or a high contested inside shot from Blake Griffin.

Btw
I rather have Fred Jones back over James Singleton. Aleast Fred Jones kept the Clippers in games.
We already have one player that can only score off of Alley oops in DJ
no reason to add a second.

Okay forgot he did have an ok mid range game
still don’t think he is worth it, if anything we need another backup center, BG will be taking most of the PF minutes. Unless he can play 3….

James Singleton is better than you think
but i am in agreement that he is not what the teams needs right now based on the players we have right now
Singleton is a 3 that can play small 4…..we already have that in Gomes and Aminu…and Rhino is a small 4. if anything Singleton will replicate them, not DJ
with that said…either a sure thing SF (which there probably isn’t anymore available – until maybe the trade deadline) or a bench C (2nd or 3rd string could work) is all that is missing
all in all, pass on Singleton.

I forgot about fred jones
but then i forgot a lot of things from that season

with craig smith hurt
shouldn’t we at least think about Singleton? I know it’s a minor injury but James brings energy and rebounding.
Craig Smith's injury isn't anything new
it is just cleanup surgery and he will be back before training camp.
