Nuggets trade: Carmelo Anthony

Clippers trade: Kaman, Bledsoe, Aminu and Minny's #1 in 2012

Nuggets punt on this season, let K-Mart walk to free up all his cap space at the end of the year, and then still have Kaman/Nene (PF/C) in the post for 2012 to go with a core of Harrington (SF), Smith (SG), Billups (PG), Lawson (PG), Afflalo (G), the Bird Man (F/C) and  (finally) cap room. Add in Aminu, Bledsoe and the #1 and they have some nice assets to rebuild quickly.

Clips get super-thin up front, but field a win-now, high-scoring rotation of:

- Baron (PG), Gordon (SG), Carmelo (SF), Blake (PF) and DJ (C) starting, with Foye (1/2), Butler (2/3), Gomes (3/4) and Rhino (4/5) off the bench.
