Sounds like a minor sprain, but this could potentially give our guy EJ the chance to snag that final spot. 

I think most of of us are all in agreement that it should be Westbrook that goes home, but this only strengthens EJ's case.  Coach K has to realize this scenario, imagine they cut EJ and and Steph Curry's ankle acts up again, who will be the shooter off the bench.  Guys tweak their ankle all the time, Team USA can't rely on only having one shooter, Coach K you gotta cut Westbrook.

Stephen Curry sprained his left ankle near the end of Wednesday's scrimmage with Team USA. The team is calling it a mild sprain and Curry is listed as day-to-day. He's competing with Eric Gordon and Russell Westbrook to make the final cut before the World Championships start on Aug. 28, so the ankle could prevent him from making the team.
