The Denver Nuggets seemingly had everything figured out...when they got greedy...

Why would you get greedy when you had THIS good of a deal on the table? The Nets were willing to go in on this deal without any idea of where their PG to replace Devin Harris was going to come from...

Needless to say, it's good to see the Clippers didn't keep poking at Denver to see what was up. Like L.James, the minute they heard what was going on, they refused to really participate in the circus. They simply did formalities and made sure all avenues were fully checked out. 

At this point I'm not really sure what Denver can really do except play the season out...but to what point? They'll be competitive with their talent...we already know that. But we also know that the talent will never put them over the top, which means Denver needs to deal ASAP. 

Who knows, I guess on the off chance Denver's bargaining power goes to the trash can, they'll lower their demands?
