Bright Future in the horizon for the Clippers

When the average NBA fan or spectators hear the words "Los AngelesClippers" they say things like there cursed or the famous "its the clippers" its a saying that has lead them to one of the most disappointing franchises in professional sports.  This has been going on for so long that people don't care if the clippers do something worth mentioning for example if they get rid of what could be the biggest problem with the clippers.  The Coaching staff.  This is without a doubt an important part in the franchise.  But its not just the coaching staff thats been a problem for the clippers, its the owner, the overall pride to be a clipper, the lack of someone holding someone accountable!  These are just some of the main problems.  They have managed to be consistent in one category, losing and the draft lottery.  As for most teams during this time are still playing and talking about boxscores and last nights game.  The clippers are talking draft picks. they have built a knack for losing and the whole NBA category has become accustomed to it.  But no one is held accountable mostly because it seems like no one really cares?!  Its become a joke and a ritual that when you hear the clippers you make a joke.  If anyone watches Jay Leno or for sportcenter for that matter they will know what I'm talking about.  Who is suppose to be accountable the owner most people would say.  We all know the shady things that Donald Sterling goes to bed with every night.  The owner is something that will always be there for as long as DTS is still the owner.  But another thing is I have never watched a team like the clippers.  I see guys LOSING by 20 points and LAUGHING on the bench!?  I see guys turning over the ball like its the GAMEPLANand they walk on D as if they don't care!?

So some of the main problems with the Clippers!

1. The Owner- DTS he is still here but he is looking like he cares more and more every season even if it is by a small margin!

2.Coaching-  Mike D he was the coach for near 7 seasons.  Whats that saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it' it clearly looks to me that Mike D coaching career with the clippers was broke BUT why was it never fixed, why did it take near 7 seasons of loosing, sure they had 1 year in the playoffs its the best year of the last decade.  Bottom Line the clippers got leaps better when they got rid of Mike D they needed something young and fresh.  They got it.  But what about the assistants Mike D had Kim Hughes I actually enjoyed the guys press conferences and hes a class act, and he did tell it like it was which (the acoun
cippers, hes young and fresh for this young upcoming team.  He gets the best out of his players, and is great with player development.  The assistant coaches he brought in were sighs of relief Ivaroni is a great offensive cordinator as is Dean Demo is a defensive coordinator.  Overall its leaps and bounds better!

3. Passion and Confidence-  I think this is a big one with a struggling owner, and the history and baggage that comes with being a clipper.  Where do you find the passion to play hard every night for 82 games?  Thats were these young guys come in! Blake Griffin, Eric Gordon, Al Aminu, Eric Bledsoe etc.  These guys r  filled with passion and spirit and WORK ETHIC!

4. Talent- The clippers have looked good on paper for several years now but the record still comes out a dud.  Looking at this team you have.

2 All Stars Baron Davis and Chris kaman, u have a top 10 SG in Eric Gordon a guy that scores almost 18ppg and plays great defense, A stud and future all star in Blake Griffin, then you have a returning crew of Rasual Butler and Craig Smith off the bench who are two GREAT guys off the bench, then you have the new comers in Randy Foye and Ryan Gomes who I think are two guys ready to come out and shine and there looking for a place to do it and thats why there here, then you have the rookies, Eric Bledsoe, Al Aminu and Willie Warren I think we can all agree that eric and aminu will be great players possinly better and as far as warren hes a offensive spark and a guy that will work which is what you need at the end of the bench.

The clippers also changed the uniforms and the logos etc.  This is also a great thing, they are almost starting over, new players, new stud #1 pick, new uniforms logo etc.  The clippers have a bright future, and if your a clipper fan I know you hate to get excited, but this is the first season for a new era for the Los Angeles Clippers.  They have addressed some of the main problems and are still a ways from being great, but they took a big step forward this year.
