Maybe I was wrong about DJ

This kid has been quite a revelation the past few weeks.  He's turned from a dumb athlete to an intimidating basketball player.  It took 3 years, but he seems to finally be "getting it".

His freethrows look a lot smoother.  He is actually finishing around the bucket.  He is running the lane.  He is defending the pick and roll better.  He is changing so many shots.

Of course this can be attributed to many things including the re-emergence of Baron Davis and having an all-world athlete/basketball player on your side in Blake Griffin.  But my take is, who cares?  He's playing much better and it's really refreshing that one our projects worked out (unlike Mike Taylor, Korolev, Livingston, Daniel Ewing, Mario Chalmers, etc).

I dont know how this works out in the long run for the clippers being that they already have an all-star center who is under contract for 2 more years.  At worst, they have another asset they can keep and develop or trade for another need.

I used to think he would never become a basketball player.  I'm glad to say I was wrong...

BTW--- clippers are winning and Rasual Butler is not playing... Coincidence??? :)
