Poll: How well will we do on the road trip?

Stay connected for news and updates

From February 4 thru March 14, the Clips will play 17 out of 20 games away from home. Ouch. We start out with Atlanta, Miami, Orlando, and NY. Later on, we play OKC, NO, and the Lakers, all in succession. Then we come home, only to face Boston, Houston, and Denver. We close out with a 5 game "mini" trip that includes Boston (again) and Memphis. So no, this won't be easy. If its any consolation, 11 of those 17 road games will be against eastern conference teams.

Personally, I bet we'll have our struggles early in the trip and then gradually get better at it... Over several games, the players will learn to keep their composure. Kaman will probably be back around the beginning of the trip and gradually work his way into the rotation. In the end, I think The Trip will seem like a microcosm of what we've witnessed from the start of the season until now. That's my hunch.

So I say, "Bring it on." What better stomping ground on which to prove ourselves? Check out the schedule for yourself at http://espn.go.com/nba/team/schedule/_/name/lac/los-angeles-clippers.
