Some STH rumblings....

So, as i a season ticket holder, i got a letter from the Clippers today.  I can buy 2 upper deck (300's) tickets for $500 a pop, $1000 total!  They should give those crappy tickets away to season ticket holders as a "thank you" for their patronage.  They make tons of moneyoff me every year and even more on Laker fans.  The least they could do is offer something other than "the opportunity" to get killed on a ticket.

I am a realist--- I understand supply and demand.  Even if I got the tickets I'd probably sell them off because having gone to my share of big games, I realize (for me) that no game is worth $500/ticket.

I went to the all star game in 2004 and it really sucked.  We got stuck sitting in some crappy seats and the game was a real bore.  It definitely didn't improve my life.

I think a better value is $300 for the All-Star Saturday night featuring the 3 point contest and Dunk contest.  At least it's something I havent seen before, and may be a memorable night if Blake and Lebron do the dunk contest.
