Is it too early to trade our all star center knowing that DJ is the center of the future?
There is not a lot of bigs out there specially one who can score and rebound and an all star for that matter.
I think Dallas, Orlando, Cleveland, Charlotte, Houston, Minnesota, Portland, Detroit, New Orleans or even Chicago
could make use of a good center to start or for a backup.
One could argue that Kaman help ease up the space for Blake because he can shoot those mid range jumpers. However, since the Clippers is becoming a running team, would Kaman be a good fit even for the 2nd unit who I think in the near future would also be running?
Who could we get or who would likely be available from those teams mentioned to improve our 2nd unit or perhaps get a consistent 3rd scorer? Or would Baron, DJ and Gomes be as a group becomes our 3rd scorer?
Also, how much money do we need to be able to hold DJ to an extended contract?
Doing nothing could be a good choice as suggested by Citizen Zhiv.
But the options opened for us could be enticing if we use the Caveman for a bait.
