kaman for collection of random young guys on the rockets? 3 way with hornets maybe?

had this idea earlier.

now the rockets have a lot of young players, some of them are not very good but they are cheap and young and COULD be good just no one really knows... that said they need a center and a 1 year kaman rental i think could work for them.

http://hoopshype.com/salaries/houston.htm

So in theory the hornets want young players / cheap salaries in the right rebuilding plan. So maybe we trade them aminu, bledsoe, minny pick for paul, we trade kaman to the rockets for some combination of thabeet (yes he sucks, but he's young!) , jordan hill, terrence williams, chase budinger, courtney lee, goran dragic , patrick patterson, the pick that they were going to send new orleans in the original lakers trade.

I mean if the league really wants to go young , getting a pick from minnesota, their own lottery pick for 2012, and this houston pick and some combination of our and the rocket's young guys would work right?

Most of those guys are kind of iffy, but they are all on rookie deals or extremely cheap making the hornets roster pretty flexible for new owners, plus they'd have all this potentially cheap young talent. on rookie contracts / qualifying offers and such.

of course david stern would do it, but its an idea.

i would think this would be a good idea even without the hornets, but clippers dont have enough spots on the roster to add that many guys. but it seems like a venue for a "get something for kaman" move

knowing the Clips had RFA DeAndre Jordan to deal with I sure hope GM Olshey has been working trade scenarios in his head for a long time.

Yeah i thought of something like this

Houston gets: Kaman, Aminu, Clips 2nd round pick
NOH gets: Kmart, eBled, Minny pick, Jordan Hill // just some rockets sweetener here, could be budinger, could be a pick, i think the salaries already matched
Clipers get: Paul, Okafor

I would look at Detroit

We know they’ve had some interest in Kaman. How about Kaman to Detroit for sign and trade Rodney Stuckey and Jason Maxiell.

Detroit – Kaman
LAC – Paul
NO – Stuckey, Maxiell, Aminu, Bledsoe, Minny Pick

If Stern wants young players the Clips probably need to find what they can for Kaman.

Very True

and this is where I believe Olshey needs to step up his game.

Trade him to Golden State?

Maybe we can a young guy and draft pick? They seem to want a center…
