I'm still mourning the loss of EJ, but regardless of anything else it can't be denied that we've witnessed a breakthrough moment in the history of this franchise; To be in this position is truly something to be celebrated... that he Clippers are suddenly no longer a laughingstock, a team that occasionally drafts memorable players who move on, and a team with the occasional hopeful season, and perennially more baggage than wins. Wasn't it only last summer that reporters didn't even bother showing up outside the Clippers camp for reactions to Lebron's "Decision?" That was because nobody in their right mind took the Clippers seriously as a contender for Lebron, just as he didn't. The Clips are now a team with 2 superstar players and a legitimate competitiveness and excitement that people are anticipating for years to come. A milestone moment indeed.
