Fantasy basketball draft

It is today at 7:00, unless enough people post on here wanting the time changed. Unfortunately, this is the only time I will have a chance to draft for a while, as I am going to see relatives, and I wont have reliable internet access. The draft order is already set, though if we want to do a redoing of it that is fine.

Obviously you dont have to be there, but at least in Fantasy Baseball and Football, the people who dont go to the draft are the one's whose teams are awful and end up with horrible records. I know we arent playing for money or anything, but I think it would be cool if everyone took it at least somewhat seriously. So anyway, just try to be there for the draft tonight.

Im sorry for putting this fanpost up, but I figure at least some of you guys dont check the league or your e-mail that often, so I decided to put this up. If anyone wants a redoing of the picks or a change in draft time, I will take it into consideration.

as it would be 4 a.m. for me and I’ll have a hectic week at work waiting for me I’ll have to pass. So sorry for that. My draft list has been cobbled together so whatever falls my way will have to make due.

Its ok

As long as you have a list, it shouldnt be that bad. Hopefully you pull out ok. If it ends up being really lopsided, ill do a deal with you if you need some talent.

well I got Blake Griffin

And I got 9 serviceable players. Bit a lopsided team but we’ll see how far it goes. The end of the bench look horrid though. Needed to make my draft list longer.

What is your team name? If need be ill trade a guy to your team for a player you dont want.

There are still plenty of useful guys on the waiver wire/FA, so I dont think it will be a problem.

Was never going to pick Blake before CP3 and anybody who’s ever played fantasy ball knows that you need to pick up the highest rated players with your first picks – very little room for sentiment with fantasy ball!

I removed every Laker from my list.

Hi guys

As it’s 3AM UK time, I’m sorry I won’t be able to be there (especially as I was up until nearly 2am doing another NBA fantasy draft with NBA fans in Australia last night!).

I’ve pre-ranked my players so I’ll just cross my fingers. And no, even though I’m picking 2nd, Blake isn’t on my radar!!! CP3 is though!!!!

Have a good draft and I’ll catch up with you guys later.

playoffs

it says on league settings that only 6 teams make the playoffs. why not have 8 to make it even, or, let everyone in and give a bye to teams in the 1st round.

as I’ve said before, I dont wwant you to change something just because I suggest it, because I’ve never managed a league before either. But it think 8 is a better number. same amount of weeks for playoffs, and more people get to participate. After all, this league is for fun
