Best part of the scrimmage...
I think the best part of the scrimmage was when the game officially ended and the score was tied up, Vinny gave the other side a sign to say "it's over, end it"..... Chris Paul walked over and said:
"This aint' over!"
Chris then looks over to the scorers table and says, "Put a minute back on the clock."
He looks over to a sitting Blake Griffin and says, "Get back on the court boy."
Chris looked at Del Negro and he didn't question it. He just said, "OK."
CP3 wasn't being disrespectful by any means he just wanted the game to have a winner and not finish with a tie. CP3 took the game over after either Mo Williams or Randy Foye missed a 3 pointer.

I think it also had something to do with 6,000 people chanting
“Over-time! Over-time!”
how exactly does one bust their balls...
with excitement??

the best part as the announcer saying
Randy Foye calls a foul on himself
I Am Witness to the 1st BLAKE GRIFFIN Triple-Double! And the 2nd Triple-Double!

The turning point
was after CP3 made a layup in OT Mo got the ball and pretty much committed a unforced turnover and ran out of bounds (over the front row!).

other good things...
Billups is a dead-eye shooter…maybe (dare i say it) a better shooter than EJ
Caron is back! i didn’t even notice an injury
CP3 is…wow
with a single alley-oop at the end of the game, he made Marcus Hubbard (WHO!??!?!) into a highlight after the dude looked like trash the whole game. Ladies and Gentlemen, the Chris Paul Effect
I Am Witness to the 1st BLAKE GRIFFIN Triple-Double! And the 2nd Triple-Double!
Not sure at this stage of his career Billups a better shooter than EJ
While it may not be a totally fair sample, I watched a lot of Knick games last year and a lot of his shots were clanging short off the front rim.
"Who wants a free Sharpie?"
IMO
EJ is a good/great shooter…but a pure scorer
Billups on the other hand is more of a pure shooter…at his age, and with the knicks its hard to justify. BUT when i saw him shooting in person, i could see how nice of a stroke he had. i’d say about 90% of the shots he took from deep went in, and of that 90%…at least 99% were swishes.
though the real test will be during preseason as i only saw him during the scrimmage (which is basically just practice)
I Am Witness to the 1st BLAKE GRIFFIN Triple-Double! And the 2nd Triple-Double!
Yea unfair sample size
he shot a ridiculous 44% from 3s prior to going to the Knicks (still finished the season over 40% from deep).
It’s always pretty close between elite shooters, I think the plus is that Billups is better moving without the ball which is key when CP3 will handle the ball most of the game.

Damn Chuck....
even though i don’t know you personally, Its crazy to think we have been posting on this blog for nearly 4 years….
It’s a trip. You and a hand full of other guys on here are OG’s
Has it been that long?
I think I was reading the site as far back as 2006 but didn’t join until around the time EJ was drafted in 2008. It’s only been 3 seasons but the Clippers have gone through so many up and downs (mainly downs) since then. Odd that our 2008 2nd round pick is now the longest tenured Clipper.
