What a difference.

I wanted to get the Nation's opinion on this. Last night, in the closing minutes of the game, the Lakers were closing the gap. I have to say:

I didn't feel nervous about coughing up the W.

AT ALL.

The feeling was almost tangible. Normally, in games like these, especially against the Lakers, I expect the worst of the worst (and it almost ALWAYS happens). Anyone care to remember Fisher's floater over DJ's outstretched fingertips last year? Yeah, me neither.

There is no doubt in my mind this was the trade to make. Right after realizing how coolly confident I was in us pulling out the win, Mike then went on to say how he ALSO didn't feel nervous in a close game. For the first time in years.

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.

And I LOVED watching Blake straight up molest Troy Murphy down the stretch. Quality signing, Lakers.

Now let's get Fesenko for 2.5m and call it an off-season...
