Clippers could be on the short list of contracted teams

but at least they’re profitable.

Start with Memphis, Minnesota, Charlotte, New Orleans, Sacramento and Cleveland.

24 Teams should do it.

Do not worry. (Matthew 6:27)

That would be phenomenal

I can’t imagine that they’d cut a profitble team.

I dunno about Cleveland

all the other owners can expect to receive some angry letters written in Comic Sans.

That would be comic

but I’d say just put Cleveland out of their misery now.

It would be one less sport for them to never win a championship.

LOL LBJ literally destroyed the franchise

Ouch

the Indians won the World Series a few times. The Browns won at least one championship with Jim Brown. Poor Cavs, they will be remembered for “the Decision”, Comic Sans and for MJ’s shot over Craig Ehlo.

They'll never contract the Clippers.

We’re profitable and we now have Griffin. If NOH is contracted, who gets CP3? Dispersal draft? Hope we “win” it (cough, Pau trade, cough).

+1

the point of contraction is to make the league more profitable, the clippers are one of a few teams that constantly posts a profit. And also all this contraction talk is BS. No way Stern would do something like this, he is employed by the owners and none of them are going to force someone out of their club.

i agree probably won't happen

yet it is a pretty good card to have in the CBA negotiations.

If they do contract NOH...

I wonder if Charlotte would want to take back the Hornets name/logo etc and basically pretend the Bobcats never happened…
